Stok Kangri Trek

 

If you are not an expert climber, you should not attempt it since it will take you to an altitude of around 20000 feet. Aside from the physical difficulty of ascending the mountain, staying overnight in tents on steep slopes will be thrilling in and of itself. Look up when you go out of your tent at Mankorma at night. The route ascends to the Kinnaur Lahaul Spiti area, exposing the arid and inviting mountains in all their glory. After Stok Kangri, it is the only monsoon trek that is challenging. This journey, which ascends to 19,000 feet, must be chosen before climbing the Stok Kangri summit.

If it weren’t for Stok Kangri, this would be an incredible trip of discovery in Himachal’s dry region. Green peas are grown in abundance in the unique Kaza and Kibber settlements. The trail’s slope becomes increasingly difficult as the elevation rises. It has it all: deep snow, moraines, loose rocks, boulders, and a lengthy summit climb. The Kanamo mountain is incredibly distinctive, even though it is not an easy walk. It is unique in terms of scenery, path types, and settlements.
