Good skin is always in! Bethenny Frankel sat down with ET at The Study at Canoe Place in Hampton Bays, New York on July 30 and shared how she gets her glow on the outside and inside.
“When you don’t feel good, you don’t look good. Trying to keep stress at a minimum and dealing with it in a healthy way, drinking a lot of water, and sleeping a lot, all shows in your skin,” the television personality, 53, noted.
In addition to making self-care a priority, Frankel uses high-quality, results-driven skincare ingredients for her luminous complexion.
“I love BeautyStat’s Triple-Plump Coconut Milk Serum because coconut water is extremely hydrating. … It’s a good fat, and as a natural food chef, that was the first place we used coconut water and coconut oil,” the Skinnygirl founder explained.
And while there is no shortage of new trends, Frankel sticks to a regimen that suits her.
“I really think the best advice is don’t believe the hype. Do what works for you, whether it’s skincare, makeup, body, and wellness,” the author shared.
What that entails: “I had bad skin once upon a time and I was guilty of face picking. That had a big impact on my self-esteem, so now I’m really conscious of not even touching my face once I’m done with my skincare and makeup.”
The BStrong philanthropist also steers clear of a dramatic beauty routine.
“I actually don’t wear a lot of makeup when I’m not working. … I’m not into the heavy makeup look with all the layering, and baking,” Frankel said.
When she does decide to amp it up for a night out, the Just B with Bethenny Frankel podcast host focuses on a few key must-haves and having a positive mindset.
“I love a red lip, glassy skin, sparkly eye shadow, and most of all, a strong lash. I love falsies and thanks to TikTok, I know how to put them on now,” she exclaimed.
As for her top beauty advice? “What preps me for a date night is my mood. … I make sure I’m happy and relaxed before I go anywhere and that really translates to how I look. It goes back to my feel good, look good outlook.”
